Metropolitan Aviation, Inc. is a African-American owned and operated company. Metropolitan Aviation has been incorporated in the State Maryland since November 2nd 1986.  Our base of operations continues to be Washington Executive Hyde Airfield in Clinton Maryland . Flight operations at Metropolitan Aviation have grown from one Cessna 150 and one Flight Instructor to our fleet of three aircraft and four highly qualified CFI’s.  

Metropolitan Aviation is currently a FAR Part 61 Flight School, which was formerly owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. Herbert H. Jones Jr.
